1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (Be sure it is GF, if not you can make your own mixture of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.) Reduce amount of spice to 3/4 teaspoon if your children are over sensitive to spices.
Mix all ingredients and simmer over medium heat in saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Pour into glass container and chill. Keep container covered and use contents within one week.
